ARE YOU WILLING TO BE A MIRACLE WORKER?
Are you willing to be a miracle worker? Miracles are the means. Healing is the result. Our job is healing. What does that mean? To heal means a release from fear, to make whole or to make perception holy. Healing is the Holy Spirit’s form of communication here on earth. The Holy Spirit has said that the body is to be reinterpreted from a tool of attack or separation to a tool of communication or sharing (teaching).
We are to use our bodies to communicate, to teach, to share, to heal, to make perception holy. Jesus used his body to share the Holy Spirit with people, to teach, and out of this performing of miracles, healing resulted. Peoples’ minds were healed and sometimes this was reflected in their physical bodies. Our desire to use our bodies for things other than performing miracles can limit our miracle capacity.
In order to perform miracles, or more accurately have them performed through you, you must be free of guilt, doubt and fear, if only just for a moment. This is where forgiveness, getting that the illusion is not real, and correction come into play. Getting that the illusion is not real is our way out of guilt, doubt and fear. The more we interpret with the Holy Spirit, the more we will be in sinlessness, certainty and love, the more miracles we can perform.
To be miracle workers we must become masters of forgiveness because forgiveness is the home of miracles. Forgiveness is the soil in which miracles grow. The more people attempting to not make it real there are, the more soil there is in which to grow miracles.
Jesus was a master of forgiveness, of not making it real, even unto death.
I elected, for your sake and mine, to demonstrate that the most outrageous assault, as judged by the ego, does not matter.(is not real) As the world judges these things, but not as God knows them, I was betrayed, abandoned, beaten, torn, and finally killed.(T6.I.9)
It is no easy task to attain Jesus’ level of spiritual advancement, but the Course, Jesus and the Holy Spirit say we can. We must take them at their word. If we are willing to do what it takes and do what the Holy Spirit instructs, this goal is perfectly attainable. Don’t listen to the ego’s incessant nay saying. We need only place our faith in God and not the illusion.
Your performing of miracles will be packaged in a particular form depending on your Holy Spirit assignment. Verbalizing that form can support you in making your illusory pursuits less real and your Holy Spirit mission more tangible. Describe the form you sense might be yours. Make the description as detailed as possible. How will you be supporting yourself and your brothers in getting home to God? Our happiness can only be found in fulfilling our purpose as God directed. Our purpose is salvation, ours and our brothers.
Those who would let illusions be lifted from their minds are this world’s saviors, walking the world with their Redeemer, and carrying His message of hope and freedom and release from suffering to everyone who needs a miracle to save him.(T22.IV.5:6)
If you know you are here to be a miracle worker and not to just live one more illusory life, then you might ask the Holy Spirit if studying at the Center is for you. You may engage in the Center at different levels at the Holy Spirit’s direction.
Our job in salvation is to support you in your job in salvation. If you are contemplating leaving the world and seeking reality instead or if you are interested in the possibility, we are here to support you as we all journey towards Heaven on earth and mastery.
