Faith in the Holy Spirit

I put my faith and belief and trust in the Holy Spirit.

YOUR PRESENT TRUST in Him is the defense that promises a future undisturbed, without a trace of sorrow, and with joy that constantly increases, as this life becomes a holy instant, set in time, but heeding only immortality. Let no defenses but YOUR PRESENT TRUST (in Him) direct the future, and this life becomes a meaningful encounter with the truth that only your defenses would conceal. (W135.19:1)

I put my faith and belief and trust in the unseen world.

The awakening of His Son BEGINS with his investment in the real world, and by this he will learn to re-invest in himself. (T-12.VI.4:9-10)

What you cannot see becomes real to you only through the witnesses that speak for it. For you CAN be aware of what you cannot see, and it can become compellingly real to you as its presence becomes manifest through you. (T-12.VII.4:4-5)

Our healing, our resurrection, our salvation has already happened. It is there waiting for us.

What do we need to do to claim it?

We have to remove all of our faith, belief and investment in the seen and place them in the unseen.

Illusions are investments. They will last as long as you value them. Values are relative, but they are powerful because they are mental judgments. The only way to dispel illusions is to withdraw all investment from them, and they will have no life for you because you will have put them out of your mind. While you include them in it, you are giving life to them. Except there is nothing there to receive your gift. (T-7.VII.4:1-6)

Bring your perceptions of the world to this altar, for it is the altar to truth. There you will see your vision changed, and there you will learn to see truly. From this place, where God and His Son dwell in peace and where you are welcome, you will look out in peace and behold the world truly. Yet to find the place, you must relinquish your investment in the world as you project it, allowing the Holy Spirit to extend the real world to you from the altar of God. (T-12.III.10:6-9)

How can the Holy Spirit extend the real world to us if we do not have faith, belief and trust in Him or the real world and if we insist on having faith, belief and trust in the delusion? Are we more invested in the seen or the unseen? How do we switch that around?

I surrender. Holy Spirit I only want the truth. I only want to think with you. I know that of myself I can do nothing but with your guidance I can remember my Self and God. That is my fervent prayer. Show me the way.
